Why salvage, Why repurposed, Why Lamps
I believe that objects, like people, deserve a second act and that there is beauty in showing their age. My practice focuses on reclaiming antiques, salvage, and 'cool' curiosities—the things that maybe we have outgrown but not quite forgotten. Whether it’s a vintage electronic, antique camera, or a rusty childhood toy, I look for the potential for a second act as a true “one of a kind” lamp uniquely designed to embrace and emphasize the object’s own beauty. To honor the history and first life of these objects, I refuse to cut corners on the technical details. By combining the character of 'found' objects with premium sockets and vintage style cords and plugs, I build unique pieces that honor their past while hopefully brightening your present.
